The Board of Directors makes all practice and game cancellation decisions.
Practices will be cancelled if the temperature is less than 35°, it is snowing, it is heavily raining with lightning, and/or fields are not playable. Notification will be sent via text/e-mail by 4:30 pm. Cancellations can also occur mid-practice if inclement weather rolls in before end of practice.
Game cancellation decisions are made by the home team. HRLC applies the same temperature, precipitation & field condition criteria for home games as practices. IBLA league rules require games to be cancelled with the league & referees no later than 1 hour prior to game start time. Due to the number of people involved to finalize a game cancellation decision, cancellation notifications could come while you are en route to a game. Notification will be sent via text/e-mail as soon as possible. Game reschedule information may not be available immediately and will be provided as soon as possible.
